About Life By Grace Church & Life By Grace Fellowship:
Life By Grace Church’s roots and history trace back to Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil, as a small Bible study group at American Missionary and Pastor Danny Hawkins’ house, as well as other Brazilian national missionaries’ houses. The Bible study group began in 2005 and by April 2012 they had multiple Bible study locations, so the Bible studies united and officially became Life By Grace Church/Igreja Gerados Pela Graça. The founders and co-founders are Brazilian National Pastor José Carlos Baptista, Brazilian National Pastor Gerados Grisbach, and American Missionary, Pastor Danny Hawkins.
In 2018, they opened Life by Grace Church in the United States, and formed The International Fellowship of Life By Grace Church to oversee their international missions (as of December 2019 the Fellowship’s name is Life By Grace Fellowship). They wanted to go beyond Brazil, and felt the United States would be the best place to have their International Fellowship.
Life By Grace Church & Fellowship embraces many different Christian belief systems. We embrace Process Theology, Christian Universalism, Ultimate Reconciliation, Charismatic Renewal, The Five-Fold Ministry, and we are a mission-oriented Church. We believe unity and diversity are strengths! So as a Church, we respect one another’s autonomy and diversity. We strive for unity and understanding, and we allow for dual ordinations, diverse cultural expressions, and theological views, which might not be found in all of our Churches.

They have missions in Brazil, India, Malawi, Malawi – United Nations Refugee Agency’s Dzaleka Refugee Camp (Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda, Burundi, Ethiopia, Kenya, and Somalia). We are expanding into Nigeria. We also offer on-demand and livestream services, radio ministry (serving South America), and social media (serving 25,000 people in 88+ countries).
